Yoo Jae Suk has made headlines for his donation of 71,500 charcoal briquettes, which amounts to 50 million Won.
On November 20, the Babsang Charcoal Briquette Bank stated, "On the 17th, Yoo Jae Suk donated 71,500 briquettes (50 million Won/ $44336.50 USD). This is the second time after this past February. After meeting him for charcoal briquette donation on MBC's 'Infinity Challenge' in 2013, he's donated to us for 6 years."
The briquette bank also revealed donations had been down 30% due to employment stagnation, so Yoo Jae Suk's donation was very much needed and welcome. He's said to have donated 653,020 charcoal briquettes amounting to over 300 million Won ($266,019.00 USD) to the Babsang Charcoal Briquette Bank throughout the years.
