TWICE reportedly going on a U.S tour in 2019

TWICE
TWICE is reportedly coming to the United States for a tour.

On November 13, NH Investment & Securities analyzed JYP Entertainment's financial report for the 3rd quarter of 2018. Popular JYP artists TWICE, Stray Kids, and GOT7 are named as the top money makers for the agency. They are expected to continue bringing in big profits for JYPE in 2019.

The report also stated that JYP Entertainment is debuting a new girl group in January, and TWICE is scheduled to hold 5 concerts in the United States next year. With the addition of the rookies and TWICE's schedule in the U.S, JYP Entertainment is expected to have a strong start in the new year.

Meanwhile, nothing is yet officially confirmed about TWICE's U.S tour. Stay tuned for updates.

It would be interesting if the new JYP girl group were to open for Twice, and get them some very big initial publicity outside of South Korea.

I really believe that TWICE is ready for a WORLD tour. I hope their success and being mainstream goes on even further.

Wait.

You cannot debut Twice's baby sister group without a reality show.

That is how Twice did it.

Golden State Warriors new arena CHASE CENTER will open in August 2019 in San Francisco.

Look for Twice to do a concert in October 2019 in San Francisco California at the new arena.

I would strongly suggest that TWICE create new dance routine for on-stage performances.

Live show can be very tough for anybody but for Kpop artists such as TWICE, it can be brutal because they have to "sing and dance" I suggest they cut down on choreo and change the tunes do that it will be less burdensome.'

Besides, I've seen all of their videos at least TWICE. Maybe more. I think they should show "something new: in concerts.

This is where JYP comes in. After all, he is a brilliant producer, right?

Anyone can come to the US as long as the promoter can sell the tickets. I don't think it will be big venues for Twice nor will they grab a lot of attention from the average American. Cutesy concept is a no go in the US. Most people are not interested in watching grown people act like kids. They will slaughter the concept left and right.

yeah this wont work. BTS managed to do it coz they have a huge fandom in the US....and even still, only the fandom seems to care about them. Most casual music listeners dont know about them at all.

TWICE isnt even close to being big enough in the states to warrant a real US tour. Coz let's face it, the only reason they want to tour the US is to get into that market and earn money via album sales later.

Well this is not really true. There have been plenty of kpop acts to hold concerts in America at smaller venues. It's just because there are a lo of kpop fans who will go see any kpop artist if they are close + the actual fans of the group. No group is trying to be BTS level and sell out a stadium they just want to appease their fans and also gain a few more. Plus it sounds good just to say they went on an American Tour.

As for Twice, people act like they are only known in Asia but it's not true. People just hype Black Pink up as the only girl group that could do anything in America because of what they sound like. Twice is still big and get more popular with every comeback. JYP also knows how to market its artists in the US. Look at Got7. They've gone on plenty of US tours and interviewed at lots of places and can actually all converse with the interviewers and not just 1 person. lol

I saw the Wonder Girls in Vegas a few years back and the venue was super packed.

Yeah a few years ago when I saw Wonder Girls for their Movie Premier it was packed! They even had to do a second showing (which the girls stayed for to talk to the fans) because there were so many people. But we're not going to talk about how everyone thinks WG flopped so hard when I think they did a great job of spreading kpop to America and they did so many things that no other kpop group had done before.

The cute concept of twice is not suitable for western audiences... JYP failed in marketing wonder girls in the U.S. Sunmi admitted she was frustrated cuz of the language barrier in the U.S., of which none of the twice members can speak either... that's why BP is more suitable cuz of concept which suits western and the 3 english speakers... at least GOT7 has like 2 english speakers...

Since when does not having a large fanbase restrict you from going on tour? (which honestly they do have fans, don't underestimate) they can just go to smaller venues. They are not required to go to huge venues in order to tour. Once will support.

A third-gen top tier girl group (Twice, BP, and RV) combined tour would be EPIC.
