The East Light member to provide testimony of Media Line Ent. CEO and producer's abuse

One member of The East Light will be holding a press conference, where he plans to provide testimony of the verbal and physical abuse he and his groupmates suffered at Media Line Entertainment.

As previously reported, it's become public The East Light members were verbally abused by Media Line Entertainment CEO Kim Chang Hwan and physically abused by unnamed producer A, who allegedly slapped and hit the members with objects and put a guitar string around a member's neck. The label has released an official statement revealing they resolved the issue with the members and the members' parents a year and 4 months ago, and they further asserted there have no incidences of abuse since then. Producer A has also resigned from the agency after taking full responsibility.

However, The East Light's legal representative has stated one band member will be holding a press conference on October 19 to address the alleged abuse controversy. The group's lawyer stated, "Member B will personally attend the press conference to give his own testimony about the abuse. He'll also provide evidence and answer questions from the press."

Stay tuned for updates.

I know right. I was thinking, maybe a payment was made to the parents and a stupid promise saying it won't happen again.

It's not 'A', it's Moon Youngil (who goes by 'Mons PD').

Resolved a year ago? The fact that the PD stepped down probably after all the investigation that took place meant he didn't get punished at all. He probably doesn't get any jail time. It was plain abuse to what he did to these kids, and the fuck is with the CEO not doing anything. The CEO knew what was happening and just let it slip. He deserves to be punished too.

I know them from variety show 'Unexpected Q' and was quite impressed with their talents in playing their instruments and putting the medley together. Am saddened by this horrible news and I hope justice will be served.

talking about children that way and especially considering you're saying something like that on an article which is about the abuse they've suffered... i think it's more obvious that the ugly one is you.
