On October 8, Onew posted a photo of beautiful flowers and captioned, "A photo by my mother. Everyone be happy. I'm�happily�doing well."

This is Onew's first post since last December, and also his�first post of 2018. Fans expressed excitement at Onew's return and also left comments of support, stating, "Thank you for being well", "I will support you through everything", "We will be happy. We love you Jinki."
