Melomance may be breaking up.
Kim Min Suk, the group's vocal, wrote, "I tried my best to have fun on stage today. Because today was Melomance's last day." Pianist Jung Dong Hwan also had told the audience at the Grand Mint Festival 2018, "Today will be the last time that Melomance will perform for the time being."
The hiatus (or possibly disbandment) announcement is incredibly sudden, as Melomance has been doing well. There are various rumors surrounding a possible break up, but nothing is so far confirmed.
