Hyun Bin's Joseon zombie thriller 'Rampant' exceeds 1 million tickets sold in only four days

Historical action zombie film 'Rampant' has surpassed 1 million viewers only four days after its release.

On October 28, the film's distributor Next Entertainment World (NEW) took to their official Instagram account to share the news, as well as pictures of the film's stars - Hyun Bin, Jang Dong Gun, Jo Woo Jin, Lee Sun Bin, and Jeong Man Sik - celebrating the big achievement.

'Rampant' is a film set in the times of Korea's Joseon Dynasty, where Hyun Bin's character Yi Chung must battle 'night demons' with quick wit and martial arts.

The film marks the second time Hyun Bin has worked with film director Kim Sung Hoon - the first being the 2017 action film 'Confidential Assignment.' However, this time around, the opening day was considerably larger, with 'Rampant's 156,644 first-day attendees dwarfing 'Confidential Assignment's 15,845.
