According to reports on October 23, JYPE rookie actress Shin Ye Eun has been cast as the female lead of new tvN drama 'The Psychometry Guy' (literal translation).
Previously, it was reported that GOT7's Jinyoung is currently in talk to star in 'The Psychometry Guy' for his first ever male lead role. If cast, Shin Ye Eun would play the role of a girl named Yoon Jae In, who acts perfect on the outside but who actually houses a poor and sorrowful childhood on the inside. When she moves to a new school, she meets Ian (Jinyoung's projected role), who can discover facts about a person by touching them. They work together to solve various criminal cases, including a case where Jae In's father is framed for murder.
Shin Ye Eun made her debut through the popular web drama 'A-Teen', going from a JYP trainee to an officially signed actress shortly after the success of her web drama. Meanwhile, 'The Psychometry Guy' is set to air on tvN some time in May of next year.
