On September 13, Japanese media outlets reported that BTS's Japanese comeback track "Bird" will be written by Akimoto Yasushi, the hit producer behind AKB48.
On November 7, BTS plan on releasing a new single album in Japan - 'Bird/Fake Love/Airplane pt.2'. "Bird" will be an original Japanese single with lyrics written by Akimoto Yasushi, whose collaboration was brought on by Big Hit's Bang Si Hyuk PD.
