After BTS dropped their "Idol" music video on August 24, Nicki Minaj gave them a shout out on Instagram. She let everyone know she was featured in a special digital version of the track, writing, "Uh! What's good KOREA?! #Idol."
One fan asked, "Why aren't you in the music video," and Nicki Minaj answered, "My version will be out in a couple of days."
