'New Journey to the West 5' halts filming, cast members return to Korea earlier than scheduled for Kang Ho Dong

The full cast and crew of 'New Journey to the West 5' are returning to Korea earlier than scheduled. 

According to Ilgan Sports exclusive report on August 10, the team stopped filming in the afternoon and is flying back to Korea. 

Earlier, it was revealed that Kang Ho Dong, who was overseas for the show filming, flew immediately back to Korea at the news of his father's death. The remaining members and staff have also halted filming and will be returning to Korea. 


Back on August 4, Kang Ho Dong, Lee Soo Geun, Eun Ji Won, WINNER's Song Min Ho, and Block B's P.O traveled to Hong Kong, then to Japan for the show filming. They were originally scheduled to return on August 14.
