Go Ara shared the story behind her debut.
The August 22 episode of JTBC's 'Give Me a Meal' welcomed Go Ara and 2PM's Nichkhun as the guests.
MC Kang Ho Dong mentioned how Nichkhun was scouted at a festival in the United States. Nichkhun commented, "That's right. I went to school in the U.S and I had many Korean friends. I went to a Korean festival and was scouted there."
Go Ara also shared her debut in SM Entertainment. She said, "I got into SM in February 2003. I had many concerns debating between acting and singing. I recorded with Girls' Generation members and took acting lessons with Heechul oppa. I ended up making the decision on my career due to the drama 'Sharp'."
