Eric Nam buys out entire showing of 'Crazy Rich Asians' in support of the Asian community

Eric Nam and his brother bought out an entire showing of the new Hollywood film 'Crazy Rich Asians'.�

On August 16, Eric Nam shared the news via Instagram. The singer announced that he and his brother have bought out an entire showing of the new film at an AMC theater located in his hometown Atlanta.�Fans are given free admission to the movie on a first come, first serve basis.�

Eric Nam explained he decided to buy out the showing in support of the Asian community. He stated, "Because we're tired of being under and misrepresented in mainstream media and we want decision makers to understand that WE ARE HERE, WE ARE ABLE, WE ARE INFLUENTIAL AND WE ARE IMPORTANT. We're not just tech geeks, math nerds, and ninja assassins. We are brilliant, beautiful, sexy, hot, and much more."

Eric Nam encouraged people to show up and added, "And no, you don't need to be Asian to watch this movie, enjoy the showing, or be part of this movement. The most diverse the merrier."
