Black Pink made a new record for MV views.
Around 6 pm KST on August 23, Black Pink's MV for "DDU-DU DDU-DU" from their 1st album 'Square Up' reached 300 million views on YouTube. The MV hit the milestone in just 69 days, making the YG Entertainment girl group the fastest K-Pop group to reach 300 million views.
Previously, the record was held by BTS with "DNA" MV, which hit 300 million views in 5 months and 16 days.
"DDU-DU DDU-DU" is Black Pink's third MV following "BOOMBAYAH" and "As If It's Your Last" to reach the 300 million views milestone.
