Wanna One have reportedly begun talks for a contract extension.
According to media outlets Sports Seoul, the various labels of the Wanna One members as well as CJ E&M, Swing Entertainment and more met together on July 23 to possibly discuss the contract being extended until the end of January. Originally, Wanna One is set to officially disband on December 31 this year.

This will be the first time that CJ E&M officially proposed a contract extension for the boys so that they can attend various ceremonies which will be held in January, and also hold their finale concert in January. Currently, the labels are split among three options: 1. all 11 members extending the contract; 2. continuing as Wanna One with the members that are willing to extend the contract; 3. ending the contract if less than 11 members extend contract.
The labels will meet a few more times to officially arrive at their decision.
