JTBC has decided to purchase Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon's home on Jeju island - the home where 'Hyori's Bed & Breakfast' seasons 1 and 2 took place.�
After the couple's home became well-known through the first season of 'Hyori's Bed & Breakfast', many tourists began to seek out the private home as a tourist sight on Jeju island, including the home as part of their vacation schedule, knocking on the door, and more. Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon continuously asked the flood of tourists via SNS to respect the privacy of their home; however, the situation worsened, even producing illegal trespassers.�
On July 14, JTBC stated, "We concluded that even if a third party purchased this property, it would still be difficult for the home to be used as a living space any longer. In the case that a third party purchases the property for their personal profit, the program contents of 'Hyori's Bed & Breakfast' may also incur damages, so we could not take the chance. We have purchased the home after discussion with Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon, in order to protect our program's contents as well as to protect our cast members."�
