(G)I-DLE depicted a girls' casual summer getaway look with 'The Star'!

In their interview, leader Jeon So Yeon discussed their unique group name, (G)I-DLE. She shared, "The company opened up a call for submissions for the group's name. That was when I was writing a song called 'Idle Song', and after I finished writing it, I sent it to the company. Afterward, the title of the song became the name of the group. It felt like destiny."
The members also recalled some of their pre-debut stories, saying, "We made a lot of different versions of 'LATATA' before our debut. So each day of the week, we practiced something different, and there were so many versions that it was really confusing and we made a lot of mistakes. We would dance one version of the dance when it was a day for a different version. If we think about it now, we had a lot of fun and good laughs back then. It remains in our memories."
