Trot singer Jang Yoon Jung's mother has been arrested for an alleged scam.

According to Wonju Police Station on June 14, Jang Yoon Jung's motherYook(62) has been arrested for a 400 million KRW (369,515 USD)scam.

Yook reportedly borrowed 415 million KRW (383,372 USD) from an acquaintance from 2015 to 2017 but did not pay back the borrowed money as promised. The police could not find Yook at her residence in Wonju. With anarrestwarrant, the police arrested Yookat Yangpyeong on June 12.


Yookclaims, "I did borrow the money but it's not a scam."Currently, the investigation is ongoing.

Back in 2013, Yooksued Jang Yoon Jung and her agency. Yook and Jang Yoon Jung have been on bad terms ever since. Yookeven sent her daughter a letter full of curse words at the news of her pregnancy.
