Actress Choo Ja Hyun was rushed to the ER and received surgery for postpartum health issues.
On June 4, BH Entertainment officially announced, "On Friday night after giving birth in the early morning, Choo Ja Hyun was rushed to the emergency room after she showed symptoms of spasms. The exact cause and illness are under examination. She's currently taking a break as directed by her doctor. Her husband Yu Xiaoguang is by her side and the baby is very healthy. We appreciate everyone who showed concerns for Choo Ja Hyun."

Choo Ja Hyun and Yu Xiaoguang, who became lovers while working together on a Chinese drama, got married in January 2017 and recently had their first baby.
