Actress Kim Jung Eun volunteered and donated at an orphanage for Children's Day.
On May 5, Korea's Social Welfare Society announced that Kim Jung Eun volunteered at the temporary infants' shelter to look after orphans on Children's Day. It was reported that the actress spoke on behalf of the happiness of all children, including those who are waiting to be adopted.
"I hope that the society becomes an environment where adoptees and sheltered infants could be brought up in good health and happiness," shared Kim Jung Eun.
In 2001, the actress had been appointed as the honorary ambassador for the Social Welfare Society. Since then, she has taken part in volunteer work, donations, and various other activities related to sheltered infants. Last year in 2017, she was also awarded the 'Presidential Badge of Honor' from the Minister of Health and Welfare for her work with adoption.
Thank you for setting a good example, Kim Jung Eun, especially on Children's Day!
