YMC Entertainment spoke up on Wanna One's "Boomerang" being leaked.
The label said, "We saw what happened as soon as the music file was leaked. We are taking internal actions such as making reports. We are very disappointed about the song being leaked. We will be taking strong action by looking for the source of the leak."

Both Wanna One's comeback title song "Boomerang" as well as album track "Gold" floated around online on March 15, 4 days earlier than the scheduled release on March 19.
Hopefully they find the source to prevent it from happening again.
