Recently, Harisu announced she will be taking strong legal action against malicious commenters. On the February 6 airing of SBS' 'One Night of TV Entertainment, Harisu shared about the situation in depth.

First, she said, "I only promoted overseas in China, Japan, and Malaysia. I'm engaging an interview with 'One Night of TV Entertainment' for the first time in 6 years. I'm sorry for greeting everyone with such news when it's my comeback in a long time."

Harisu was recently targeted with hate comments about her body after appearing on a hoobae singer's MV. Comments stated, "She didn't take care of her body. That's all just surgery." 

Harisu stated, "I've been struggling with malicious comments for 18 years. Harisu hyung, oppa, uncle, ahjussi.. those I just let by but they are all sexually harassing comments."

She continued, "I've been suffering from insomnia. I've always wanted to die.." Breaking down in tears, Harisu added,"This is also one of the reasons why I decided to get divorced. I hated seeing the people I love get hurt and I felt like I couldn't just stand it like that any longer."
