When there was a scale-9 Tohoku earthquake that hit Japan, CL did not hesitate to come to the 34 floor where her friend and fellow bandmate Dara was located, terrified. Despite the dangers of death looming over their heads, CL remained calm to provide for her friend a sense of support.

Despite 2NE1's disbandment, CL has always shown support and love to her bandmates with their own personal lives. When Dara was getting ready for her movie premiere, CL came to show support. When Bom did a thing CL also commented and showed love. When Minzy, the maknae, left to do her own thing CL posted teaser images of Minzy with the caption "+Congratz @_minzy_mz on your EP Proud of you chasing your dreams :)+". Despite the disbandment, they still prove to be connected and supportive of each other.

Self-claiming the title of Internet Mom, CL always does what she can to remind her fans she loves them. From the occasional Instagram post to comments, CL always makes sure she puts her fans first as she has said on many occasions how grateful she is to have Blackjacks and GZBs by her side since the beginning. And she always makes sure to interact with them and keep them updated on her album delays.

When they went to visit WINNER's dorm, she opted to pay for all the snacks and gifts they were going to bring to the dorm warming. She does what she can to provide support to her hoobaes.

During MAMA 2015, CL had her solo stage with "Hello Bitches" but shocked everyone when she reappeared with her fellow 2NE1 members to perform their hit songs like "Fire" and "I'm the Best." The way she looked at her bandmates showed the pure love and proudness she has for being able to be part of 2NE1. Despite the hate she receives she always looks at her girls with such pride and joy.

When Minzy left the group ultimately leading to 2NE1's disbandment, CL wrote the song "Goodbye" as a farewell letter to Minzy but later adjusted the lyrics so it was a message to the fans as well.
