Veteran actor Jang Gwang gets into a car accident while driving to 'Hwayugi' filming set

According to dongA's exclusive report on January 16, Jang Gwang was involved in a car accident while traveling to a drama set in Anseong, Gyeonggi-do. It's stated a car rammed into Jang Gwang's vehicle which was stopped at a red light. The rear end of Jang Gwang's car is reportedly severely damaged, and the actor expressed pain in the head. However, Jang Gwang went straight to the drama set without heading to the hospital. It's reported the actor didn't want to cause any harm to the drama schedule.�

An affiliate commented, "Jang Gwang is in deep shock from the accident. He also expressed pain during filming, however, he did not ask to go to the hospital. He wanted to go after filming is complete. He plans to get a thorough check-up after filming."

Meanwhile, 'Hwayugi' has overcome the various issues and controversies, and recorded viewer ratings of 6.9% with its 6th episode aired on January 14.�
