Jeon Ki Sang, a famous director of many popular Korean dramas, has passed away due to an automobile accident.

On January 13 around 1 AM (KST), Jeon was crossing the street when a taxi unexpectedly hit him at a crossroad. The victim was quickly sent to the hospital, but the ultimately passed away.
Director Jeon Ki Sang was a famous PD for many of Korea's beloved dramas. While working for KBS, he directed 'Sassy Girl Chun-hyang,' 'Papa,' and 'Bodyguard.' After leaving the company and becoming a freelancer in 2005, he went on to direct even more works, including 'Boys Over Flowers', 'My Girl,' 'Witch Yoo Hee,' 'To the Beautiful You', and more.
The funeral for the late director will soon be prepared by his family. Our condolences go out to his family and friends.
