On January 8, Huayi Brothers revealed news of actress Lee Si Young's delivery to Star News. "On the afternoon of January 7, Lee Si Young gave birth to a healthy baby boy at a hospital in Seoul."

The agency commented, "Both the mother and newborn are in good condition and are currently resting while receiving blessings and congratulatory messages from family and friends. Lee Si Young is beaming with joy upon welcoming her first child into the family."
Lee Si Young tied the knot with businessman Jo Seung Hyun last September and bore a son after 4 months.
