SHINee member Taemin will not be attending 'KBS Gayo Festival' scheduled for December 29.
According to staff members on December 26, "SHINee's Taemin needs to rest and take time to recover during this difficult time.� After much thought, it has been decided it would be best for him to not attend the event."
Meanwhile, the '2017 KBS Gayo Festival' was to feature individual performances by mentors�Hwang Chi Yeol, HyunA from 'The Unit' in addition to Taemin.� However, following�Jonghyun's passing on December 18, Taemin has canceled other performances.
The staff continued, "We deeply apologize for bringing such unfortunate news to fans eagerly awaiting Taemin's stage at this time.� We ask that for everyone's understanding of this situation."
