On December 15, reports claimed that project group JBJ, born out of 'Produce 101' season 2, would be extending their promotion period.

Insiders reportedly said, "They still have time left in their contract, but even so, each of the JBJ members are already showing positive outlooks on extending their promotion period from 7 months to even longer."
JBJ's original contract with LOEN Entertainment and CJ E&M was for the project group to promote until April of 2018. In response to the above claims, a representative from LOEN relayed, "Currently, we are deeply discussing a contract renewal, but nothing has been decided yet."
