Hoya talks about why he decided to leave Woollim Entertainment for the first time on a broadcast

The idol star introduced himself using his legal name Lee Ho Won, and explained, "I think it's my first time introducing myself (as Lee Ho Won) on 'Radio Star'. Hoya was just a nickname that I was called by since I was little." He mentioned his departure from INFINITE, adding, "It's not been very long since I started promoting alone."

The MCs asked if INFINITE members tried to convince him to stay. Hoya replied, "No matter if they tried to hold on to me or not, I've made the decision because the direction I wanted to go was different from my agency. And my contract happened to come to an end around that period so I came to leave."

Kim Gu Ra�brought laughter as he commented, "Last year, you were here and said you can't imagine being without your members..." To this, Yoon Jong Shin�said, "Well, the unimaginable happens nowadays."
