Netizens assumed Leeteuk had no choice but to wear a wig to cover up his new, bright pink hair for Super Junior's impending comeback, as EBS is an education network with strict broadcasting guidelines.
In response to the assumptions, a rep from EBS explained to YTN Plus that it wasn't the strictness of the network but actually Leeteuk's own decision to wear a wig in respect of the show viewers who are mostly elders in their 50s and 60s.
Meanwhile, Super Junior is scheduled to make their comeback on November 6.
