According to The Daily Mail, Kim visited the site and asked a stranger to take photos of her. While jumping up and down for a mid-air shot, only one of Kim's foot landed on the cliff's edge and she plunged 200ft down the cliff.

Other visitors on the site immediately reported the accident to the 999 (emergency center). Kim's body was found at the bottom of the cliff, and it's revealed a severe head injury led to her death.
The police also stated they found a total of 6 photos taken at the cliff on Kim's phone, including a photo of her in mid-air for a jump shot.
Embassy of South Korea in England informed the unfortunate accident to Korean travelers and warned not to go near the cliff edges.
