'The Unit' finally aired its first episode on October 28 after many teasers and much-anticipation. During the show, many current and past idols appeared to get their second shot at their dream. Amongst these idols, former SPICA member Yang Ji Won stood out with her powerful voice and performance. She sang SPICA's "Tonight" for the mentors and the audience in front of her. While everyone was impressed with her vocals, she gained more attention as soon as the beat dropped and she also showed off dance skills in the process.

After the performance, she was flooded with compliments from the mentors. She also received a "super boot" within just 30 seconds, meaning that 90 percent of the audience agreed with the mentors' decision of passing her.
