A 25-year-old woman named Shim Song Yi has gone missing.
According to Shim's family, on the night of September 24, Shim disappeared after leaving the house to visit her boyfriend at the cafe he works at. The boyfriend claims Shim came home with him after work but she was not there when he woke up in the middle of the night.

Shim's sister reported the incident to media outlet Insight and stated, "We've reported to the police, checked the CCTV, and tracked her location. Based on the location tracking, the last place she was spotted was near the Mask Dance Festival near her boyfriend's house."
On the day she went missing, Shim was wearing a white t-shirt, cardigan, and jeans.
A compensation of 1,000,000 KRW (871 USD) will be rewarded to anyone with a black box or CCTV footage and/or specific reports regarding Shim's mysterious disappearance.
