Rookie girl group Matilda took to their official SNS to post a message to fans regarding their confirmed appearance on KBS2's idol rebooting project, 'The Unit'.
Matilda said, "This may not be favorable news for fans who have been waiting for Matilda's new album, but we believe that this is an opportunity to show Matilda and grow as a group. We are working hard, so we would appreciate it if fans can cheer us on! Thank you for your constant support and love!"
Currently, KBS2's 'The Unit' has received applications from idols/trainees of over 90 different entertainment labels. The big 3 labels - SM, YG, and JYP - have not confirmed any label artists' appearances, but other large labels such as Pledis Entertainment, Starship Entertainment, LOEN Entertainment, TS Entertainment, TOP Media, and more will be participating.
Thus far, confirmed artists for 'The Unit' include Ahreum, Big Star, Brave Girls, Boys Republic, Dal Shabet, IMFACT, 1NB, Boyfriend, DIA, TOP SECRET, Mr. Mr., Snuper, Wassup, SPICA, Mint, Matilda, and more.
'The Unit' is set to premiere this coming October 28!
