On the August 7 airing of 'Please Take Care of My Refrigerator', Hongki joined as the guest and talked about his past dating news with actress Han Bo Reum. You knew some of this from the preview but now the full version is here after the broadcast of the show.
He first revealed that he was very shocked at Song Hye Kyo's marriage news and commented, "I understand the fans' feelings now." The MCs jokingly encouraged Hongki to go public with his relationship again and he responded, "I'm never going to reveal my relationship to the public again."

He explained, "My fandom has decreased in half. At a concert in Japan, half of the fans weren't there. The fans who were there also had cold expressions." Hongki then once again emphasized that he's never having a public relationship again.
Last year in November, Hongki confirmed to be dating the actress and in February, he confessed his 3-month relationship with Han Bo Reum had come to an end.
