First still cuts revealed for upcoming medical drama 'Hospital Ship' featuring Ha Ji Won

Taking on the role of medical doctor, Song Eun Jae, for the very first time, Ha Ji Won explained how she was drawn to play the gripping character. �"'Hospital Ship' revolves around the story of a medical team who travel to remote islands trying to look after the sick despite the lack of supplies/medical facilities. �That aspect grabbed my attention."

Ha Ji Won went on to describe how she prepared for the role by watching numerous medical documentaries, dramas, and YouTube videos on performing surgeries and such, despite the fact that she wasn't very comfortable with the bloody content. �

Regarding her new haircut, she explained, "I cut my hair after a long time and I�didn't think it would be so refreshing and comfortable," laughing aloud.

Meanwhile, 'Hospital Ship' is set to air its first episode in the middle of August.
