Plan A Entertainment stated, "Kim Nam Joo has officially been selected as one of the main characters for the much-anticipated web drama 'Akdong Detectives', scheduled to air within the second half of 2017."
In addition to Kim Nam Joo, 'Produce 101' season 2's Ahn Hyung Seob and Yu Seon Ho will also be appearing in the drama. The series revolves around two boys named Oh Sung and Han Eum, who lose their parents as young kids, and one female detective named Jin Kyung, who acts as their guardian. The three characters will work to solve the mystery of the boys' missing parents through their detective works.
The drama is expected to start shooting this month and will begin airing mid-September through Naver's 'TV Cast'. Stay tuned for more information!
