Entertainer Shin Jung Hwan is set to return from his hiatus from broadcasts in September.
On July 12, his agency Koen Stars stated, "After Shin Jung Hwan met with Mnet recently, it's confirmed he'll be returning to broadcasts in September through a new variety show." The variety show surrounds the theme 'Return to Beginnings Project', but further details have not been revealed.
Shin Jung Hwan stated, "I can't believe I've been given a new chance. I'm worried I won't be able to adjust to the flow of the new show, but I'm more worried what viewers will think... I'm nervous just wondering about that. All of this is something I have to endure and move past. I'll do my best in the most sincere way."
In 2011, Shin Jung Hwan was sentenced to jail for gambling illegally.
