In an interview, Kyung Li mentioned, "People tend to view me as the cold type at first sight, making it difficult for them to approach me and strike a conversation." She added that she wasn't like that at all. "I'm actually quite clumsy. I like to meet people and chat along with them."

The idol star also talked about her secret to having a great bod. "I was more on the skinny side when I started gaining weight in high school, and now I have no choice but to take care of my body," she started, then explained, "I try to stay fit by eating one meal a day. My secret tip is to munch on a piece of chocolate", adding a sweet smile.

Meanwhile, Kyung Li will be performing with Nine Muses for their second concert 'RE: MINE' set to launch in Seoul next month.

The sad reality of being 5.6 and weighing 90 pounds.

eager_beaver Friday, June 30, 2017

There's no reason to eat just one meal a day to stay slim. The body wants a steady boost of energy. It functions the best that way. If one wants to stay slim, one should rather eat many small meals a day than just one. There's a reason why doctors advice us to live that way rather than just survive on one meal a day. Millions of people around the world eat several meals a day and yet they manage to stay slim. That proves it's possible. Eating just one meal a day messes with your energy production; the meal gives you the boost of energy your body needs, but then during those long hours when you're not eating anything, your body goes into energy conservation mode and holds on to its stored energy and your body and mind gets tired. In absence of additional energy boosts than just that one meal, your body will burn muscles for fuel. Looking at how non-existent muscles female K-pop idols have, it's always been clear it's the result of their starvation diets. Their muscles wither away when their body ravages them for energy.

L_catzzz Friday, June 30, 2017

Currently I also eat only 1 meal per day. I've already stored so much fat to the point my body just use the fat that I already have to give me energy. Similar to hibernation mode.

Kurare L_catzzz Friday, June 30, 2017

good luck on your diet!

L_catzzz Kurare Friday, June 30, 2017

I'm not dieting. It's just that my body currently is so full right now that I can't eat more than 1 meal anymore. I've tried to eat more and I kinda like almost puke.

_Jarhon Friday, June 30, 2017

That makes zero fucking sense. Its a fast digesting carb that spikes insulin. Basically the worst shit you can eat....... When will Korea actually wake up from their anorexia/diet/eating disorder nightmare and stop these idiots from commenting about delusional diets.

Kurare _Jarhon Friday, June 30, 2017

Actually it's not. Soldiers have chocolate rations and other high calorie rations to reduce meals while on the go since 5ever. I can see how that can be used into a method of dieting. But since it makes "zero fucking sense" to you, I guess that makes it right.........

eager_beaver Kurare Friday, June 30, 2017

Soldiers is a very specific example to use. Their needs in the field and "on the go" is not really an example of sensible eating. Firstly, soldiers are fed large amounts of calories because that's what they need just to keep going. But what nutrient content those foods have is often of secondary importance. So just because soldiers have been eating high-calorie rations forever, does not really disprove Jarhon's point. High-calorie chocolate can be fed to soldiers, even though the calories are largely so called "empty calories", because the soldiers will burn them off. For soldiers chocolate is not a meal replacement for the purpose of dieting. Just a calorie dense food. While I don't agree with Jarhon claim that chocolate is the "worst shit you can eat" - there are many worse options out there, especially to supplement a one-meal-a-day diet - it's still mystifying why a person would choose chocolate as a "secret tip" when eating just once a day to stay fit. Secondly, chocolate serves one important purpose for soldiers; it makes them feel good in shitty conditions. It's like a dog treat. It's not just a way to stuff soldiers with a lot of calories, but it's also a little treat used to boost moral. So chocolate isn't a major part of a solider's diet but more of a small reward under harsh conditions. Why that would be needed by someone who is dieting is unclear to me. Granted, I've never dieted so I don't know how it feels, but people say it's really tough. But I doubt it's war-zone tough.

_Jarhon Kurare Friday, June 30, 2017

/facepalm ... Welcome to the fail boat. The entire point of chocolate ration is spike in bloodsugar. It's not a fucking good thing overall, and it sure as hell doesn't help in weight loss. Its a spike of energy to perform. Something soldiers need. .... I just..... There are tons of morons who believe in this idiotic dogma that if it works for 1 then it must work for all. But NEVER have I met someone so delusional and out of touch with reality that they'd actually compare fucking COMBAT TROOPS with a god damn girl group idol and go "nonono it totally works for both"...... /facepalm

Kurare eager_beaver Friday, June 30, 2017

Dear eagar beaver, I would like to say one thing and one thing only. The purpose of dieting is to reduce one's weight, empty calories are the only way to do this effectively. The calories can be burned easily, IT LITERALLY isn't suppose to contain nutrients. They do things like goto practices/events etc, so they just need some quick energy burst to get the job done and to keep their diets going. Mind you she did mention that she has 1 meal a day, which ideally could contain all the nutrients she would need for said day. But hey, at the end of the day, w/e floats your boat. I can say this much from experience since I kinda get it, sometimes I just down 1 decent meal, and before bed pop in a couple of ferrero roches and I'm good as well.

Kurare _Jarhon Friday, June 30, 2017

Please... tell me more about how military research/concepts aren't applicable to everyday life in the 20th century. Because last I checked, a "BOAT LOAD" of it is being used today. Since I'm ***delusional and out of touch with reality.*** You can go educate yourself as needed at the nearly educational facility. And to return the insult just because you''ve trigged me; I will assume you to be ignorant at the world at large. Good day 'dumbass'

_Jarhon Kurare Sunday, July 2, 2017

You truly are a fucking imbecile. Calorie is a heat measurement of food. Whether the consumed food has nutrients or not has NO fucking effect on the actual caloric value. But what it does have an effect is basic functions on a hormonal level. Maintaining weight becomes drastically easier eating caloric DENSE foods, ie complete amino acid chains, low sugar, healthy plant fats ect ect ect. I seriously dont understand where your level of retards come from who don't have even the basic level of understanding about food. Seriously are you perhaps Korean? Cause its the only place I've recently met people who are so fucking clueless about dieting its unreal, case and point all their idols.

_Jarhon Kurare Sunday, July 2, 2017

Here's a quote for your idiot ass... "[A diet exclusively of] refined sugar is lethal when ingested by humans because it provides only that which nutritionists describe as empty or naked calories. In addition, sugar is worse than nothing because it drains and leeches the body of precious vitamins and minerals through the demand its digestion, detoxification, and elimination make upon one's entire system." Meaning eating those empty calories actually does even more fucking harm than just starving yourself. The energy spike from it activates metabolism and digestion process, which then has nothing to digest and starts attacking your own body. Kind of like osteoporosis that eats the amino acids and minerals in porous bones.

Kurare _Jarhon Monday, July 3, 2017

*sigh*... Banned.

_Jarhon Kurare Friday, July 7, 2017

Yeah, by minihitler writer who wrote something that's basically a illegal. The post and my comment pointing it out that it's illegal have all since "magically" disappeared.

Kurare _Jarhon Friday, July 7, 2017

I will point out the first few sentences of your reply since you've literally made my case for me, as I will no longer bother to respond to this madness ................. ***A diet exclusively of*** She ate a solid meal once a day, and to top off/curb her hunger later on she went ahead and popped an empty calorie chocolate. It's like eating ramyeon and callin' it a simple meal which EVERY BLOODY asian person has done for ionno the last 50 years since the rise of instant dehydrated noodles (but that aside...) So you can literally stop shoving the idea that Kyeongli is crazy, and that i'm crazy, or that the world is crazy. You literally wrote all your post under ONE assumption, that she/me promote empty calorie diets EXCLUSIVELY. So son, you are the "idiot ass". ayyyyyyyyyLMAO.

_Jarhon Kurare Friday, July 7, 2017

I hate morons who dont even remember what they said THEMSELVES. YOUR argument was "soldiers use empty carbs, therefore useful for dieting" ... which makes no fucking sense. And it's been beaten to your head like a million times. SOLDIERS are already in a caloric surplus from their regular nutrition, but use empty carbs like chocolate to boost bloodsugar for increased athletic performance in combat. Which has FUCKING NOTHING to do with dieting. It's the complete opposite of dieting. It's when you're already on a surplus from regular food, and inject even more energy into your body to perform. And my original comment to YOU was about THAT. That you didn't even understand what she did, what the soldier do and how fucking nothing they do is in anyways linked at all. Try to keep a singular thought for longer than 5s?

Kurare _Jarhon Friday, July 7, 2017

Please don't quote something I didn't say. Bye.

_Jarhon Kurare Friday, July 7, 2017

it was your very first comment you moron, anyone can see it

Robert22 Friday, June 30, 2017

I'm not judging cause I do the same thing, but without chocolate part, I eat apples when I get hungry. It's hard to stay in shape and hopefully it's a big meal.

Jojo_Dancer Friday, June 30, 2017

One meal a day and a piece of chocalate!? What the hell is wrong with kpop.

Kurare Jojo_Dancer Friday, June 30, 2017

nothing. i do this 1-2x a week when i don't feel like eating food.

UKihyun Thursday, June 29, 2017

One meal a day??? HOW? After 3 hours my stomach is starting a war for food. Plus "a piece of chocolate?" One does not simply eat A piece of chocolate. A bag of chocolate is more likely

Kurare UKihyun Friday, June 30, 2017

3hrs? Dayummmmmmmm

UKihyun Kurare Friday, June 30, 2017

yep. after only a few hours the siege begins again. i think i have a super high metabolism or something. im hungry 24 hours a day

Qricket Thursday, June 29, 2017
