The May 30 broadcast of SBS MTV's 'The Show' featured group Seventeen taking home the trophy as they were awarded first place for "Don't Wanna Cry." This is the first #1 for the boys since their comeback.
After winning #1 against DIA and VIXX, the members thanked their fans saying, "First of all, we would like to thank our fans. We would also like to thank our members' families and everyone in our agency."
In their encore performance, the boys expressed their gratitude to their fans by making heart-shaped gestures.
During an interview backstage, Seventeen commented, "We returned with the title song 'Don't Wanna Cry' since we felt that although the younger generation appears happy at times, they, too, feel sad moments from time to time."
