According to industry representatives on May 12, After School's UEE will become a free agent as her contract with Pledis Entertainment is expiring at the end of this month.

Debuting in 2009 with After School, UEE successfully transitioned into the acting industry, illustrating her talented skills in various dramas as well as juggling her career as an idol.

With that being said, UEE is expected to receive many love calls from various agencies once she officially becomes a free agent.

PLEDIS SCREW AFTER SCHOOL, duh i hope e-young and kaeun never debut in AS, specially kaeun , 2 cb and gone.

SilverJung Friday, May 19, 2017

i mean its a waste to debut them if pledis didn't promote them

Pledis can rot in hell for the way they've done AS so wrong.

This is so sad :( The way Pledis treated After School was immensely unjustified. After School had a lot of potential and was really the only girl group you could call a "jack of all trades". They were extremely talented and deserved so much more than what they got.

Congrats and best of luck!

You can only stagnate for so long, she's lucky she gets to model and act as well, the others aren't as lucky but yeah fair enough....She's so perfect btw haha

Not surprised, I would leave too if I were in her shoes. Pledis is a shitty company and everyone knows it. tbh tho many groups, that are now hiatus/inactive, had a lot of potential but Pledis turned a blind eye on them. I wish her the best of luck in her future plans.

After School had such great potential...sigh. And even though After School was starting to fail and was falling behind, Orange Caramel was doing great too. I really don't understand Pledis. If you don't find the members profitable anymore, why not just disband them, end their contract and let them go elsewhere? And if you did see them profitable, why weren't your ever giving them schedules? Don't you think it's a bit unfair that you'd stall their time and youth away?
