Jo Kwon made a guest appearance on the April 18 broadcast of KBS 2TV's '1 vs. 100' where he talked about his mother's reaction to him cross-dressing.
When MC Jo Choong Hyun asked, "Your cross-dressing has become quite a sensation."
Jo Kwon then commented, "I had the opportunity to cross dress while on a program. Many people were wondering 'who is that lady?' after seeing my transformation. When they found out it Jo Kwon, they talked negatively about me. I also dressed like Beyonce and SISTAR as well."

The MC then asked, "What were some of the reactions you've got?" The singer commented, "My mother said, 'I don't think you came from my womb.' Sometimes, she sends me text messages saying, 'Hey daughter, what are you up to?'," causing the audience to laugh.
