Girl group Gavy NJ was featured on MBC FM4U Kim Shin Young's radio show recently, where the members talked about their performances.

DJ Kim Shin Young asked, "Don't you get a lot of compliments for your talented singing skills?" The members replied, "We do since most of our songs require a lot of vocal work. Because of that, there are times when we tense up before going on stage to sing live."

Hearing this, Kim Shin Young commented jokingly, "So that's why you were doing vocal warm ups in the restroom."

Where did they say they felt burdened? The quote says they get tense. There's a big difference between saying you get tense before a live performance and saying it's a burden in your life. Why you always gotta stir the pot AKP, why?

There are a few in my mind odd words you often use to describe K-pop groups' experiences. One of them is "burdened". Do K-pop artists actually use that word when they talk about the challenges they face, or is it just an approximate translation of the Korean word? In other words, does the Korean word maybe mean something slightly different than "burdened"? Because to me that's quite a negative word to use. I might say that I feel tense before performing, or nervous or unsure about my abilities. But "burdened"? That makes it seem like K-pop artists feel a whole lot of stress to do well in the eyes of others, and not to let others down, as if they have the whole weight of the world on their shoulders. Being burdened makes it almost sound like they're not that into performing, and would rather avoid it, but do it anyway just to fulfil other people's expectations, as if it's largely an unpleasant experience for them.

That is their job and its natural to do vocal warm up as a real singer. I think other kpop dont do vocal warm up because they rely in autuotune.
