On February 23, court trials will be held to settle singer Yoo Seung Joon's dispute over his entry into Korea after he filed a lawsuit for being unable to return to his homeland.

Most importantly, it appears this particular session will determine whether or not Yoo Seung Joon can enter Korea at all; making it the final chance. We will have to wait and see if the tables can be turned this time around. A representative stated that Yoo Seung Joon has been fighting over this controversy for the past fifteen years.  Will the judge hear his plea and allow him to finally enter Korea? It will be seemingly difficult if the singer loses this case.

In the first round held last September, Yoo Seung Joon had lost the dispute with the judge claiming the singer had applied for a U.S. citizenship to avoid serving in the military. Following this, Yoo Seung Joon filed a dispute through his attorney on October 17 and has continued to push through the trials.

Back in January 2002, the singer denounced his Korean nationality and applied for a U.S. citizenship, being exempt from mandatory military duties. He was then exiled from Korea and has not been able to set foot ever since.
