Mina recalled a funny story about reuniting with her brother at a TWICE concert after 2 years.

On the February 25th episode of 'Entertainment Relay', the TWICE members talked about their sold-out, 15,000-seat concert 'TWICELAND'. Momo said, "I'm sure we were all nervous right before we got on stage, but we do well when it starts."

Chaeyoung also commented, "We also prepared performances according to units. Dahyun and Tzuyu had something cute for fans."

Mina then said, "I met my older brother. It had been 2 years. It was so funny." She also sent a message to her brother, saying, "I'm relieved that it seems like you're getting along healthily. Thank you for coming to our concert."

You are everything wrong in this world

kddicted Sunday, February 26, 2017

I love you Mina

lovelunaa Sunday, February 26, 2017

or maybe she hates her family and wants to get away from them? maybe they're not close? maybe her brother's a douchebag? people need to accept that families aren't always pristine perfect, especially not strict asian families.

kddicted lovelunaa Sunday, February 26, 2017

You actually have a point there

star123987 lovelunaa Sunday, February 26, 2017

i highly doubt that's the case lol. her family supports her and her dreams and love her (without thier consent, Mina would not have been able to move to Korea and become a trainee at JYP. Adult age is 20 in Japan and 19 (international age) in Korea). Stop trying to make something so small and simple into something so dramatic lol. The thing that is special about a family is their unconditional love and strong bond. you don't have to be close to your siblings in order to know that you love them and they love you. as you get older, you see less and less of your family and don't talk as much (because you're out creating your own life). And that's probably what it's like for Mina and her older brother. He went to college and on to getting a job and she moved to Korea at a young age to become a kpop idol. They most def talked on the phone here and there but just haven't seen each other in person for 2 years. I love my brothers and they love me, but I only talk to them/see them when i'm back home from college. besides that we don't really keep in touch except very random calls or text msgs here and there. but in the end, we'll always be family and care for one another.

star123987 lovelunaa Sunday, February 26, 2017

also if he was a "douchebag" and didn't care for Mina, he wouldn't have taken the time out of his life to fly all the way to Korea just to see his sister perform. does that really make sense to you. lol. considering he's older, he's a full grown adult and his parents couldn't have "forced" him to attend.

lovelunaa star123987 Sunday, February 26, 2017

calm your tits lol, writing a fucking essay just to disagree with me... it was a possibility im not saying its 100% what happened, so chill out lmao. im just saying people need to realize that not all what they see is rainbows and lollipops behind the scenes all the time

robin1 star123987 Sunday, February 26, 2017

Star123987, How would you know? Do you know Mina? People always talking like you're their best friend.

shubhajan lovelunaa Sunday, February 26, 2017

i think she likes her brother but i agree with you!

kddicted Sunday, February 26, 2017

I can't believe people are like omg ahhaha how can you feel happy if you haven't seen him in two years. Lol she's being strong in front of the camera but she was probably so touched that he came to their concert

Mina is the only idol who doesn't cry but finds it funny after reuniting with her brother after so long. Hahaha love this girl!

JezzRose kpop_lover_1 Saturday, February 25, 2017

Believe me. There is nothing funny not seeing your brother for 2 years.

I think it´s actually sad that she didn´t saw her brother for 2 years...

k_kid neko2412neko Saturday, February 25, 2017

She didn't really bothered by it, though. She said it was funny seeing him rather than being emotional.

JezzRose k_kid Saturday, February 25, 2017

one thing is being professional on screen, but as a girl, out of her country, with no family members around, and not seeing your older brother ? believe me, it was pretty hard for her

k_kid JezzRose Saturday, February 25, 2017

I don't think she was being "professional" by saying that she was laughing at the reunion with her brother. She was just saying it how it was. Twice is known for not "protecting" their image and just let themselves go on-camera. And a lot of people are fine without having family members around. I know a Burmese girl who lived in the UK for 7 years without seeing her family and she loved the experience even though she's really close with her family members. Plus, Mina has her Twice family around her all the time, so she shouldn't feel TOO sad especially since she knows that Twice is the biggest girl group out at the moment.

JezzRose k_kid Saturday, February 25, 2017

Mina and all the members get strength from Twice and their fans Once I agree. But I went to live alone since I was 16 and I live with my best friends. I have 2 older brothers. We don't speak to much to be honest , but honestly, I'm always, always missing them a lot. When I see them in a family reunion, we barely speak eachother but I feel safe just knowing that they are close to me. I have so many friends but no one can compare to your brother.

k_kid JezzRose Saturday, February 25, 2017

People's experiences with the same situation are different. It's like, for example, my friend's experience in Germany was horrible and faced a lot of racism, while my experience in Germany was perfect and I had no problem with any sort of racism or anything negative. I'm sure Mina misses her family from time to time, but it probably doesn't affect her as much as it affected you and others who's gone through the same experience.

JezzRose k_kid Saturday, February 25, 2017

I love my life alone with all my friends. I'm always surrounded by a lot of friends but no friend can compre with the safety of an older brother. Eventhough we don't really like eachother, I know that if someone tries to hurt me, my brothers will destroy him. Unless you are a girl with older brothers you'll understand.

k_kid JezzRose Saturday, February 25, 2017

The people I know are more independent and my thoughts are that Mina learned to become more independent while living alone in Korea. Which is a good thing and plus she got fulfill her dream of becoming a singer and a very popular singer as well. Even Momo said in an interview from TWICE TV1 that she was the type who was very dependent on others before moving to Korea. She was hesitant about going to Korea alone without her sister. So I guess your connection with your brother(s) are more stronger than others like Mina.

JezzRose k_kid Saturday, February 25, 2017

it is the same connection. I've been independent since I was 16, and I loooove it. I don't need by brother at all, we never speak by the phone or something but I still miss them, and a cousin told me that they miss me too. This is called FAMILY. We have a special bond, like you and you family has. Same as Mina with his brother. As I said before, it's different if you are a girl. I guees u are not.

star123987 neko2412neko Saturday, February 25, 2017

not all siblings are super close you know. once you grow up and go to college, move to a different country, get a job, etc. it's not uncommon for siblings who don't have strong bonds not to see or contact each other often. it doesn't mean you dont love them, just life happens. and when you guys do see each other at family reunions, holidays, etc. it's just like the good old days.

HatersBckOff Saturday, February 25, 2017

so cute~ <3 I bet it was filled with tears.

k_kid HatersBckOff Saturday, February 25, 2017

No, she said instead of filled with tears it was just funny seeing him again.

HatersBckOff k_kid Saturday, February 25, 2017

they all say that. ;) but i bet it was soooo cute their reunion. <3

k_kid HatersBckOff Saturday, February 25, 2017

Have you seen the actual interview? Mina was all awkward when they told her to send a video message to her brother and she laughed at the end because she felt awkward saying it.
