The star enlisted back in May of 2015, but due to unknown reasons, his discharge date was never confirmed and confusion arose as to whether he would be returning in February or March. His discharge date was confirmed recently, and he will be greeting his fans only for a short period of time.
Kim Hyun Joong has been going through a long legal battle with his ex-girlfriend and mother of his child, who was recently indicted for fraud and manipulating evidence.
His label KeyEast said, "Kim Hyun Joong is being discharged on the 11th. He's only going to have a short greeting."
