On the January 13 airing of Channel A's 'Singderella,' it was revealed who Song Joong Ki thought was the trendiest star at the moment.

First, Leeteuk took over for Lee Soo Geun temporarily on the show, appearing as the special MC.

It turns out that Heechul ranked first among the Super Junior members when it comes to variety shows. Leeteuk responded, "It's bittersweet. I feel like if Heechul does well then they're going to put me in [here and there] more often like they did with by putting me in 'Singderella.' What made me realize Heechul was the trend was that Song Joong Ki contacted me, saying Heechul is so fun. He always shot a CF recently, didn't he? Seeing that, he told me that these days, he thinks the trendiest person is Heechul."

Heechul is possible the most naturally talented variety-dol. He is just really quick-witted and has a good grasp of comedic timing. However, I don't think he's as well suited to MCing. That skill set isn't really about making jokes (though a few here and there is good) but helping facilitate interesting/funny conversation and managing the pace/tone of the show. I think he's better suited to roles like he currently has on Knowing Brothers.

I don't agree. Before Heechul went to the army he is like one of the most sought after mc specially on dream concerts, imo he did great as mc, manage the pace of the show really well, quick witted and takes care of his co mcs who are first timers. I don't know why after military he only got 1 mc job on a big event, it's like SM pushed all of it to Leeteuk, maybe sm is trying to make Leeteuk the best mc idol out there. It's ok for a time but people may get tired if it's always Leeteuk.

Heechul is an MC for Singderella and is the main MC for Lipstick Prince. He does a good job on both. I just think he's an even better entertainer when he's allowed to be more disruptive like Knowing Brothers.
