Gaining popularity for her appearance on Mnet's 'Unpretty Rapstar 3', Wassup's Nada appears to have filed for a contract termination with her current agency, 'Mafia Records', according to reports on January 31.

Nada had received much attention for her rapping skills and being a runner up on 'Unpretty Rapstar 3'. Following this, the singer had the chance to model in advertisements and other opportunities. From Mafia Records' perspective, they hoped a new star would be born. However, Nada seems to have decided to explore other options while taking on various entertainment jobs, Mafia Records expressed their regrets.

The problem arose when Nada approached the agency, asking for the amount in revenues since her appearance on 'Unpretty Rapstar.'  Upon revealing the total number of revenues up to last December, they explained that the actual amount wasn't as large, in addition to training fees.

Nada did not back down, instead filing to terminate her contract with Mafia Records. Nonetheless, Mafia Records is currently looking for a way to resolve the issue with the singer. Stay tuned for updates.

The label released a statement that basically said they're broke.  It sounds like the label overestimated the money they were going to make, spent more than they should have on promotions and stuff, and now they don't have anything to pay them with.

Nada is poor and she needs money. She said it. She also said she's trying to help her group with the money she's making. BUT THE LABEL ISN'T HELPING IN ANY WAY ! So I can't blmae her even though I'm a bit upset that she's leaving.
