Jung Hyung Don commented, "Seungri charges so much for his business," and Seungri responded, "I didn't personally run it. However, I heard that my employees worked really hard. I ran a vocal and dance academy. A lot of idols have come from there," naming WINNER's Kim Jin Woo and BTS' j-hope.

He explained why he had to stop the venture, however, saying, "The teachers and students would end up liking each other, and I got calls from parents. That's why I shut it down."

GUYS! ENG SUBS ARE OUT NOW ON UTUBE. BTW Ri said the academy is TEMPORARILY CLOSED NOT PERMANENTLY. Im sure Ri will open things up again when he has more time to personally oversee who is being hired and the type of rships developing between the students and teachers. again, his academy is not like a training company where there is cctv footage and love is banned and u cant live in peace. He cant know for sure who is dating whom at his academy unless he sees something happen in front of him, but parents complaining is ENOUGH of a warning.

student-student love is fine, but of course student-teacher rship needs to be focused on & even Ri objects to it

BTS JHOPE WHAT

Seems pretty relevant as a reason and it proves he really cares about the students and their parents! He could try again later with more forbidding rules when he'd have more time to focus on his business :)

I love him so much ^^ So talented and funny with a great business sense. It's a good thing he shut down the academy. Good luck in all of your businesses!

It's good that he shut it down for that reason, but I feel perhaps firing the staff and placing a new staff with stricter rules would have been better? It's a shame though since it does seem like his academy would have done very well.

Ri set the academy up when he had time. But then he became busy and he could not personally oversee nor vouch for the new teachers/students coming in. His presence has a more impact and personally seeing the rships between students and teachers (not all the teachers are that old i bet). Im sure rules were made but Unlike management/training companies, they cant remove a trainee if they began liking their teachers. Going to a dance/ training school is less strict than being a proper trainee where u are watched liek a hawk, love is forbidden and thre cctv 24/7. Just like a normal school, u go to learn and chances are u develop crushes.

the academy did do well but parents concerns come first. He said in the ful eng sub video its TEMPORARILY CLOSED
