Fans were excited to hear Uhm Jung Hwa is returning with her 10th album 'The Cloud Dream of the Nine' on December 27 KST, but it looks like her comeback won't be going as smoothly as possible. Netizens have found similarities between her upcoming album jacket and American pop duo Lily & Madeleine's album jacket for 'Keep it Together', which was released this past February.

From the shots to the overall concept, some are noticing a few overlapping details. Uhm Jung Hwa's reps stated, "The project used for the shoot is very common. It's an atmosphere that's used by a lot of people and a lot of genres. The photographer Hong Jang Hyun just expressed the fantasy image of 'The Cloud Dream of the Nine' album. He just used the starlight for that."

What do you think?

I say copycat.

Hong Jang Hyun is the LAST person on earth who would knowingly copy someone else's work.  He's one of the best and brightest photographers in Korea.

yeah, everyone, who had his face as the cover is also copying everyone else, because now no one is allowed to use their own face as cover or anything else, because we pretty much saw everything already as a album cover...degenerated haters sure try everything to hate around...get a life pathetic suckers...

How come something generic concepts like that is accused of plagiarism. We can found that concepts some in magazines n others music video.

BakaKaori Saturday, December 24, 2016

maybe I'm the only one, but I haven't seen tons of photos like that before. so I can see why some are calling it plagiarism.

kpoplolita Saturday, December 24, 2016

Dude its common and atleast uhm knows how to make it work with that scenery, lily n madeline or whoever make it look so basic bcz they arent trying much from their end. Glitter or no glitter uhm nailed the pose, take away the glitter and its 2 girls thinking they look artsy..

MyTwoCent kpoplolita Saturday, December 24, 2016

lol never fails on a Kpop being accused of plagiarism- Someone always comes along and says what you just said

kpoplolita MyTwoCent Saturday, December 24, 2016

yeah im just saying kpop artists get accused by non-kpoppers for plagiarism over the simplest things. still, a clear and concise explanation was given on soompi (AKP as usual didnt include the whole statement like the name of the program they used for uhm). but really take away the glitter and it really looks like madeline and lily arent trying and relying on the background too much. Thats why i appreciated the posture/stare and aura surrounding Uhm in her photo :)

May I just say, look at that bod! At 47, Uhm Jung Hwa still looks smokin' hot!

Chrysantheneum Saturday, December 24, 2016

Nah, that kind of photoshoot is so generic, that's hardly plagiarism. I've seen hunderds of photo's like this in magazines, on TV or albums.
