A man in his 20s was sentenced to prison time for stabbing two women to death.
The killings took place back on March 30 in Gyeongbuk, in a studio apartment of one of the victims. The man got angry over the victim's request to break up and began to stab her with a knife. When the victim's friend heard the screams and came to help, the man also stabbed the friend several times, killing both victims.

The man then calmly called the police and said, "I killed my girlfriend and her friend." More shockingly, he did this in front of a 6-year-old, who is a child of the friend who came to help.
On December 8, the court sentenced the man to life in prison, explaining, "...He committed the heinous crime in front of a child and left a great damage to the families of the victim."
